Welcome to the Reliance Home Comfort (Essentials) Video Series! This is the first instalment in a weekly series developed to provide you with the tips and knowledge to make your home more comfortable, safer, affordable and greener.
Considering the fact that up to 70% of our annual energy budget goes towards heating and cooling our homes, every step we take to improve the efficiency of our furnace and air conditioning units will provide many benefits.
Since we’re currently in the midst of an “average” Canadian winter, let’s start by talking about our home’s furnace. Steps that you take towards improved efficiency will:

- provide improved temperature/humidity control
- reduce wear and tear (which leads to increased maintenance costs and shortened equipment life)
