Building A More Comfortable Tomorrow1 min read
Reading Time: < 1 minuteThe truth is, we can’t undo the damage we’ve done to the environment, but we can influence change to operate in a more sustainable manner. Helping to protect the environment should come standard with every business decision. Reliance is serious about conducting business in a way that protects and improves the state of the environment. We recently retrofitted six of our service vehicles with XL hybrid electric systems, using electricity to increase fuel efficiency and reduce CO2 emissions.
We’re also encouraging customers to switch to paperless billing, and partnered with Tree Canada© to plant 1,000 trees on the Lytton First Nation Reserve in British Columbia to offset our paper billing consumption. We’ve eliminated single-use cups, lids and cutlery at most of our branch offices, eliminated plastic water bottles at our Head Office, and we’re thirsty for even more eco-innovation.
Together, we’re building a sustainability platform that reduces our impact on the environment. You can do your part by helping us convert new homebuyers to paperless billing as soon as they move in. It’s easy, reach out and let us show you how.
