I’ve spent quite a bit of time on twitter over the past few months seeking tips, articles and info on how to do what you can for your home, your family and the environment – and I must admit,  it’s been pretty rewarding. The objective is to share the discovered wealth with our online community as a way of providing our readers with knowledge and value, but most importantly, it’s our way of saying thanks.
The added bonus to discovering and sharing all of these terrific tips about sustainable and healthy living is that many come with a silver lining that positively impacts your quality of life – that silver lining is all of the cost savings that come with many alternative choices and conservation practices. And who doesn’t like to save money while doing their part for the environment?
Check out this week’s video highlighting five energy and money saving tips that I’ve discovered through some great people on twitter. And these are just a few examples on an ever growing list which we’d love to have you add to. Leave your green money saving ideas as comment below.

I buy used all the time. I visit goodwill at least once a week and I ride my bike there to boot!
