CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DRAW
RULES AND REGULATIONS
ELIGIBILITY: The Reliance Home Comfort “Customer Appreciation Draw” (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of Ontario, Manitoba and Alberta who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence on or before March 31, 2012 and who have an existing valid and active account with Reliance Home Comfort for the rental of residential water heating equipment (“Rental Accounts”) in good standing as of March 31, 2012. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Contest is not open to any person who is an employee, representative or agent of Reliance Comfort Limited Partnership (the “Sponsor”) or of any agent, representative, partner, affiliate, subsidiary, parent or related company or advertising or promotional agency of the Sponsor or who is a member of the immediate family (i.e. parent, sibling, child or spouse) or household of any of the above persons. Multiple persons named on Rental Accounts will for the purposes of the Contest be deemed to be one individual person.
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The Contest consists of one prize draw on April 16, 2012 (the “Draw”). Any existing Reliance Home Comfort Rental Account customer as of March 31, 2012 will be automatically given one (1) entry in the Draw.
The maximum number of entries is one (1) per person in the Draw.
PRIZES: The Draw will award one (1) prize consisting of $1,500 in cash (the “Prize”). The Prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. If the Prize is forfeited, then it will not be offered to any other entrant and will not be redrawn, unless the Sponsor decides to redraw in its sole discretion. The odds of winning the Prize are approximately 1 in 1,225,000.
DRAW: The Draw will be made at approximately 12:00 p.m. on April 16, 2012 in Toronto, Ontario from all eligible entries for the Draw.
CONSENT TO USE PERSONAL INFORMATION: All entrants consent to the Sponsor’s collection and use of the entrant’s personal information (including but not limited to e-mail address, first name, last name, date of birth, phone number, address, city, province and postal code) (collectively “Registrant Information”) to administer the Contest, unless the entrant contacts the Sponsor by mail at 2 Lansing Square, 12th Floor, Toronto, Ontario, M2J 4P8, Attention: Customer Appreciation Draw, or via email at info@reliancecomfort.com, and requests to be excluded from the Contest (in which case such entrant will be excluded from the Draw). Your Registrant Information will not be disclosed or transferred to any third party without your consent.
SELECTED ENTRANT: The winners will be contacted by email or by telephone and will be required to answer a time limited skill testing mathematical question. The winners will also be required to sign a declaration certifying compliance with these rules and to sign a release of liability form releasing the Sponsor and its agents, representatives, partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, parent and related companies, advertising and the promotional agencies, and all of their respective directors, officers, owners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with the Contest or the Prize. The declaration and release documents must be returned within fifteen (15) business days of the date on the notification or the Prize may be forfeited. By accepting the Prize, a winner consents to the use of his/her name, address, voice, statement and photograph or other likeness for any publicity by the Sponsor, without further compensation.
Entrants agree that the Releasees are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction. Late, lost, incomplete, illegible or misdirected entries or entries that are irregular, have been submitted through illicit means or do not conform with or satisfy any or all conditions of these Official Rules, will be judged void. The Releasees shall not be responsible for any damage to the Prize, including without limitation any damaged sustained during shipping of the Prize to the selected entrants. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest at any time without any notice to the entrants. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or violates the Official Rules of the Contest. All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
