“Raindrop Challenge” CONTEST
RULES AND REGULATIONS
ELIGIBILITY: The Reliance Home Comfort “Raindrop Challenge” contest (the “Contest”) is open to legal residents of Ontario who have reached the age of majority in the province on or before April 16, 2012. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Contest is not open to any person who is an employee, representative or agent of Reliance Comfort Limited Partnership (the “Sponsor”) or of any agent, representative, partner, affiliate, subsidiary, parent or related company or advertising or promotional agency of the Sponsor or who are a member of the immediate family (i.e. parent, sibling, child or spouse) or household of any of the above persons.
HOW TO ENTER: No purchase is necessary to enter the Contest. The Contest is open from 12:00 a.m. EST on April 16, 2012 through to 4:00 p.m. EST on April 27, 2012. The Contest consists of a daily prize draw on each of April 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27, 2012 (each being a “Daily Draw” and collectively being the “Daily Draws”) and a grand prize draw on April 27, 2012 (the “Grand Prize Draw”). To enter a Daily Draw, eligible entrants must login to Facebook and perform the social media task specified on Reliance Home Comfort’s Facebook page as being required for entry into the particular Daily Draw. Specific social media tasks will be communicated via Reliance Home Comfort’s Facebook page and must be completed no later than four (4) hours prior to the Daily Draw in order to be eligible. Eligible entrants performing such social media tasks will be automatically entered in the relevant Daily Draw. To enter the Grand Prize Draw, eligible entrants must visit www.facebook.com/relianceonline, click on the “Raindrop Challenge” tab and complete the Contest entry form between 12:00 a.m. EST on April 16, 2012 and 4:00 p.m. on April 27, 2012 inclusive. Eligible entrants may enter in as many of the Daily Draws as they wish. Eligible entrants are limited to only one (1) entry per Daily Draw and one (1) entry in the Grand Prize Draw.
PRIZES: Each Daily Draw will award one (1) prize consisting of a $30.00 VISA 3V Voucher (each a “Daily Prize”). Each Daily Prize is valued at $30.00. The Grand Prize Draw will award one (1) 16 GB Apple iPad with 1 GHz processor and WiFi enabled (an “iPad”). Each iPad is valued at approximately $550.00. The Daily Prizes and iPad are referred to as “Prizes”. The Prizes are non-transferable, must be accepted as awarded and have no cash value. If a Prize is forfeited, then it will not be offered to any other entrant and will not be redrawn, unless the Sponsor decides to redraw in its sole discretion. The odds of winning one of the Prizes depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
DRAW: Each Daily Draw will be made at approximately 8:00 p.m. EST time on each day of April 17, 18, 19, 20, 23, 24, 25, 26 and 27, 2012 in Toronto, Ontario from all eligible entries for such Daily Draw received by 4:00 p.m. prior to such Daily Draw. The Grand Prize Draw will be made at approximately 5:30 p.m. EST time on April 27, 2012 in Toronto, Ontario from all eligible Grand Prize Draw entries received prior to the Contest closing.
CONSENT TO USE PERSONAL INFORMATION: By entering the Contest and voluntarily providing your personal information (including but not limited to e-mail address, first name, last name, date of birth, phone number, address, city, province and postal code) (collectively “Registrant Information”) you consent to the Sponsor’s collection and use of the Registrant Information to administer the Contest. Your Registrant Information will not be disclosed or transferred to any third party without your consent.
SELECTED ENTRANT: The winners will be announced on Facebook and must contact the Reliance contest administrator by email within two weeks of announcement. Once contacted, they will be required to answer a time limited skill testing mathematical question. The winners will also be required to sign a declaration of certifying compliance with these rules and sign a release of liability form releasing the Sponsor and its agents, representatives, partners, affiliates, subsidiaries, parent and related companies, advertising and the promotional agencies, and all of their respective directors, officers, owners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with the Contest or any Prize. The declaration and release documents must be returned within fifteen (15) business days of the date on the notification or the applicable Prize may be forfeited. By accepting a Prize, a winner consents to the use of his/her name, address, voice, statement and photograph or other likeness for any publicity by the Sponsor, without further compensation.
Entrants agree that the Releasees are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any website or online service, or any other error or malfunction. Late, lost, incomplete, illegible or misdirected entries or entries that are irregular, have been submitted through illicit means or do not conform with or satisfy any or all conditions of these Official Rules, will be judged void. The Releasees shall not be responsible for any damage to the Prizes, including without limitation any damaged sustained during shipping of the Prizes to the selected entrants. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest at any time without any notice to the entrants. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant that tampers with the operation of the Contest or violates the Official Rules of the Contest. All decisions of Sponsor are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations.
