I do have one installed and I usually keep it at 69 degrees.

Yes, set at 76 in summer and 69 in winter.

No programmable thermostat. It is constantly manually adjusted because of inconsistent shift work

Yes we do and it’s set for mainly 78 summer and 69 winter. Plus it’s programmed to mainly cool at night in summer when hydro costs are at their minimum.
