A rainy day is a great time to bake some cookies or other homemade goodies to put in the freezer or take to an elderly person.

I find that rainy days preventing you from going outside is a good opportunity to tackle a job you typically put off. For me, it’s organizing and clearing out the storage items under the stairs. Start with a small goal and continue if still feeling motivated.

Staying productive on rainy days is easy. Those are the days I do all of my major housework, major laundry loads, cooking of spaghetti, lasagna, or other meals that I can then put in the freezer in dinner portions for the nights i am just to busy to cook.
Those are also the rare days that I turn off either my heat or A/C and open all the windows and let my home completely air out, freshen up and so on………as much as I would love to crash out on the sofa and watch one movie after another on a rainy day, I find i get MOST of my work done on such days. So I think its really easy to stay motivated on such a day. Harder to do so when its beautiful outside
